A message from our founder
I’m excited and proud to introduce you to Botaniline, a Buffalo, NY-based food technology company, committed to using all-natural, vegetable-based ingredients to improve the nutrition in the foods we all love.
Botaniline is an early-stage company and spin-off of Wardynski’s & Sons, a meat manufacturing business established in 1919. Botaniline uses all-natural, vegetable-based ingredients to create low sodium, allergen-free, and chemical free products. We are thrilled to introduce Botaniline better-for-you ground proteins.
Our ground proteins are made in a unique way using a plant-based potato ingredient. When cooked at a specific time and temperature, the potato is able to extract salt and hold in moisture acting as a peptide. We are able to take out a percentage of the meat block and many other harmful ingredients and allergen additives. The result is a finished product that is lower in sodium, saturated fat, and calories as well as a cleaner label free of fillers, binders, allergens, and chemical additives. We are committed to creating more sustainable foods that are free of gluten, MSG, TVP, phosphates, sorbitol, and soy with no compromise to quality, flavor, taste, and texture of the meat.
In my 30-year tenure as CEO of various hospitals and healthcare organizations, I saw the effects of poor diet on health. Botaniline’s mission to improve worldwide health directly aligns with the big picture goals and ambitions I have worked for throughout my career. The food that we eat directly impacts our health – we strive to create foods that will decrease the likelihood of hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and so many other conditions and diseases. I firmly believe that if people are eating healthier foods, they will live healthier lives.
We are excited to launch Botaniline foods – which include hot dogs, sausages, beef and chicken products – with our channel partner National Food Group.
